The only way that we can ensure that roomate requests will be verified is if both roommates request each other during registration. There are only two campers per room. There are 4-6 rooms per suite. If you are coming with a team, a designated team coach or manager will supply the rooming list.

ESA will not be responsible for tickets given that day.
Day Camp attendees will be picked up in the field house and must be signed out by a parent or guardian. If a camper is to be picked up by someone other than a parent, please send a note to that effect. The camp ends with a party at 11:15 am on the last day and ends by noon.
Advanced and Elite Camps end with morning games on the final day. Check out for all overnighters will take place after the games in the dormitories, usually between 10:00 am and 11:00 am. Commuters will check out from the fields.
Cancelations must be requested in writing to receive a voucher for the 2013 Elite Soccer Academy or a refund. Cancelation requests due to illness or injury must be accompanied by a doctor’s note. All refunds will be less a $100 administrative fee. Players who cancel within two weeks prior to camp will only be eligible for a voucher, not a refund. Vouchers for 2013 will be honored in 2014, although you will have to pay the difference between the voucher value and the 2014 session price. Camp registrations are non-transferable to other camps here at Virginia Tech.
All campers staying on campus must have a $50 key deposit at check-in (checks payable to ESA) in order to get their dorm keys. The check will be returned at check-out when the key is returned. This is required because the VT Housing Dept. charges a $50 fee for lost keys. Payment for the deposit is cash or check only.
Certified athletic trainers (ATCs) will provide medical supervision 24 hours a day. If there is specific medical attention that your daughter needs, please have documentation with you to hand to our trainers. Please feel free to call prior to camp to discuss any unique situations.
All campers need a ball at camp. If you would like to purchase a hand-stitched Virginia Tech logo ball for $20 you need to do so when registering. If registering online, you will be asked if you’d like a ball. If you are submitting an application by mail, please check that you’d like to purchase a ball and include the $20 cost with your payment. SIZE 5 BALLS ONLY.
Photos will be taken and sold for $10. Please purchase during your online registration.
Extra t-shirts, with a different design than the camp t-shirt, will be available for purchase. To pre-purchase, please check the box on the registration form either online or via paper application. Last year's Hokie soccer shirts will be available on a "first come, first serve" basis (and at a discounted cost) as well.
Day Campers receive a t-shirt, certificate of completion, and a party on the final day. Advanced and Elite Campers will receive t-shirt, lodging and meals, written evaluation and training for 4 days. Elite campers also get to experience seminars throughout the week. Commuters receive the same as the Advanced and Elite except they do not receive breakfast each day or stay in the dorms.
Extra security measures are in place to provide a safe living/camp environment while staying on the campus of Virginia Tech. Dorms are locked throughout the entire day and cannot be accessed except with a key card. Key cards are issued to each camper and staff member. Each dorm room has a phone, which provides free local calls and room to room calls and can connect with the local 911 system in an emergency. Finally, the dorm staff rooms are clearly marked for camper needs at all hours. If you have further questions, please contact our office.
Each Advanced and Elite campers will receive a written evaluation from their academy coach at the end of the week.
ESA is not responsible for camper’s personal items that are lost or stolen. It is highly recommended that each camper lock their room when they leave. It is also the responsibility of the camper to keep track of their soccer ball as they cannot be replaced by the ESA.
Campers that drive themselves to camp must turn their keys into the director during registration. Keys will be returned at check-out. We will provide parking permits for campers who have cars.
