All fields used for the Elite Soccer Academy are located on Virginia Tech's Campus. With a wide variety of facilities, Virginia Tech features some of the best playing surfaces in the country. All campers will use the newly sodded Bermuda grass Soccer Stadium, practice training fields (grass and field turf for all playing conditions) and will have access to Rector Field House (indoor soccer complex).
All overnight campers will stay on campus in the student dorms, conveniently located near all dining halls and soccer facilities. The dorms are air conditioned and newly renovated.
The Elite Soccer Academy is pleased to offer some of the best dinning in the country to our camp participants. Virginia Tech serves the best food in the nation, according to The Princeton Review’s "Best 371 Colleges: 2010 Edition”. The university’s Dining Services also received a No. 1 ranking for “Best Campus Food” in 2008 from the Princeton Review, and was honored with the prestigious Ivy Award from “Restaurants and Institutions” magazine. Virginia Tech's award winning dinning facilities will offer a wide variety of nutritious meals at the newly renovated D2, which features all you can eat dining.
All recruiting seminars and video sessions will be held in the high tech, 130-seat Merryman Auditorium located in the Merryman Center. The Merryman Center is the main entrance to the athletic department located directly across the street from the Virginia Tech soccer facilities.
McCOMAS AND WAR MEMORIAL HALL SWIMMING POOL
Campers will have access to one of two recreational centers on Virginia Tech's campus. The recreational centers offer an opportunity for campers to take a dip in the swimming pools in between sessions.
